I've been hunting through your works for a 'felix cat' like this one (I'm not sure if that name means anything to you, but this type of black and white cat was used in an animated TV advertisement for a catfood called Felix in the UK many years ago) and hurrah I found it!

My husband and I are finally getting our lives together. We married 12 years after first getting together (very difficult times for 4 years mostly thanks to family, further trauma to follow again thanks to them in later years), we bought a house a year later and now in our 2nd year, we finally have *a pet*. I grew up around animals, he also had a dog when a small child. We have wanted to have pets from day one, but when you have to rent and you're scraping the barrel for every meal, pets aren't only not allowed but you're also unable to afford them (children count in that too, so we have none). Finally... we have a cat!

Her name is Izzy she is such a fabulous character. She actually plays hide and seek/tag... with *us*. No not our hands hidden behind or under objects such as boxes and duvets... Well she does do that but she also hunts and chases... *us*. She'll go and hide after batting me, then I'll go find her (creep up as best a noisy human can), then run away (sometimes thundering up the stairs) and wait for her to come after me. It's so funny!

Anyway, random stories aside, we love her very much. I know your commissions are somewhat closed at the moment (and to be honest, we probably couldn't afford anything right now anyway!) but perhaps in future if you ever resume, I'd love to have you do something of her - whatever strikes your fancy or takes old of your imagination from what I tell you of her. I make it a point with people who do artwork or models etc (we've had things done from time to time) always to be grateful for whatever they come up with, and give them some freedom to go wild if they want to. It can be pretty boring doing something specific, it's nice when you're given freedom to do whatever you like, safe in the comfort that even if it isn't what was expected, or even what might have been preferred, it will still be loved and cherished *because* you threw a part of yourself into it (to me, that's a precious gift).

Keep up the good work anyway. I'm hoping to try to make my own stuff eventually and try to sell it for a bit of extra cash. I'm struggling at the moment though because people love my random chalk drawn dragons... but I have no idea how to 'seal' them! :S Plus whilst I've acquired 'fake rock', I'm not convinced that's the best thing to be using... No worries I'll figure something out eventually. Be well and stay creative!
