hello! finally I got together all my energy leftovers from the day to write a journal entry... and stright to the point about commission works, yup those are still CLOSED. at this point I'm trying to take more time just to draw and paint for myself ( just like in childhood times haha ). whenever I will feel like opening more personal commission work slots I will definitely let you all know ( just in case I must warn about a little price rise, yup o; ). sooner or later I will open few slots this year!

for those who requested owl themed mugs, yes I will make these very soon so stay tunned. other than that there is the never ending mass-question "what's with these bubbles?", "why there are always bubbles!??", "WHY!???" o; ...and reason is probably simple, it just came out naturally from the very biginnings I posted my first works here on dA. it may indicate lack of skills at some point, but it turned out to be more like a signature even. it's just there becouse it fits in c: serve the all mighty bubble! lol

this is it, a whole new journal entry, NOT! my laziness DOES amuse me -_-

I'd like to say I'm getting more free time yet obviously I don't... no matter I'm thinking to record more speedpaints, hopefully sometime soon enough; should be helpful to learn stuff about colouring, lights and such. general tutorial here on dA is still a possibility - about how I work with colours and such.

as for the requests; these are closed by the default yet I'm trying to do mass-requests - a subejct/character suggested by many. also, few animes I want to recommend! Hyouka. It's somewhat similar to Bakemonogatari yet softer in its psycholigical atmosphere if that's the right words to put it ;D

few of you have asked about mini dino mugs, those are on the way... I should post ( actually finish them ) them sometime soon. one or two more Boggart t-shirts also may appear c:

it's been a while since the last update! these past weeks have been bussier than ussual and even so I don't think that stopped me from drawing and painting even more or at least as much as normally I would, and I tell you I don't really draw that much at all D: about new things you can expect from me; new Panda Live Wallpaper for Android 2.1+ phones should be up soon sometime this or next week ( based on "panda" artwork [link] ). I guess you already know about new Calendar 2012... [link]

btw I managed to watch ALL 331 epsodes of Bleach! plot, characters... I really enjoyed it :] wont toss around with critics as every big anime has its fillers ( actually also an enjoyable part of it all ). there are a lot more good stuff to mention, but I will let a twitter to handle that! as for more of recorded videos on youtube and what not - that all will come~

hey! hi! ...hello! I've been interviewed by *Topicality on her dARenaissance article here [link] ...also you may suggest other artists to be featured in the next interview/article and find out lots of useful things about their art and what not.

another thing, I posted new speedpaint and I'm guessing you are already well aware of that :} [link]

about my game/app, animation and screensaver project; it's not gone, its still in works yet things progress slow becouse of various reasons ( deciding platform, distribution matters, must work on animations first which is the main part of it all ) ...sooner or later this personal project will see the light.

last but not least, actually most fun part is a release of Portal 2 which turned out to be too amazing! there is no place for words, one just should play it throught... I so ****ing love it! "spaaaaaaace!" ;]

p.s. oh and recently I started to watch bleach, it's actually a fine anime, similar to Naruto in some ways, actually in lots of ways...

did I miss something? hmm. right! could someone recommend me a good artbook to get? I'm thinking to make one too, sometime... so I should get some grasp on basic idea of how other artists does it, yet I have this idea to make it somehow idiomatic, peculiar, odd... apofiss-tish(?)

about the app/game in works, at the moment it’s a small personal project which consists of 3 parts: a screensaver ( so far for windows only ), a little flash based game and a short animation ( a subject to change ). two latter should be for free while the screensaver would go for a symbolic pay per download (im guessing $0.99?) So far the screensaver has progressed the most and i approve – it does look magical already :] *i literally looked at it like zombified lol* even thought it’s not even in alpha phase. so far by a default this project features two characters – black cat Yin and  panda ( name is unknown ). when does it all comes out? no specific date/order on this... whenever it’s ready! around spring time, maybe.

writtings feature! a short story [link] by ~Eowyn-Saule, inspired by 'marching on' image and a poem [link] by ~xglide, inspired by 'i be firefox' image ...go a check them out, short and beautiful reading material!

also im slowly compiling more complete FAQ ( feel free to ask any questions in journal comments which you think should be answered in FAQ ) which should be on in a few days, just like the soooo prolonged speedpaint video like coming soon forever... and thank you for all the uplifting, in-depth comments and support in general *group hug* :]

[october 11th]

this is it! *likes to say 'this is it!' ...enjoys all the nice bday wishes* thank you all amazing, inspiring people here at dA *group hug!* :] some people even sent me dA points, thank you too! (you know who you are). having a bit busy second part of this mounth so im hoping to be back with more decent works by the end of october!

other than that i'll put up more prints in the coming days, mostly for the few last works (many print requests!). will try to re-organize 'useful info' part in a seperate journal AND i should update f.a.q.!

also, i watched Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole! all in all it's worth seeing; it has its special moments with beautiful animation/emotion/etc while it also has few 'holes' (weak spots?) within few scenes like some happening did not convince the viewer at all (not at least an adult viewer) and left with "umm ok..." it's not a new epic 'lion king' for the new generation yet animation, soundtrack, visuals wise - it is must see! 8/10

photoshop cs5

finally tried photoshop cs5! yes, the very first thing to play with is the 'content aware fill' - it does its job great yet i don't find it quite useful (while people who work with photo-manipulation probably finds it like a god like tool). another thing is the new brushes; I can't really put a finger on how these are more useful hmm. I skipped cs4 so 'canvas rotation' is something I miss in cs3 (yet I find it at 'sai paint tool')... and colour picker tool has an excelent way to pick another colour while seeing previous one. overall (by side of my needs towards software) cs5 is something to skip as cs3 and sai pain tool does it's job good and even better, that is in my humble opinion~ AND thank you  for all anime recommendations so far! :]

A: mostly not, depends.

Q: how long did it take for you to get as good?
A: there is no direct answer to that; few years or few weeks, depends on how you look at it. some parts of 'skill' takes longer to develop ( like a sense of artwork as whole ). the more you draw, the more you love what you do the better results... it all comes down to each and everyone individually.
