I wanna say "first snow," I'd prefer to say the start of December, but according to how America works, "The Holidays" (politically-correct term for Christmas) start sometime in early October when you see Santas in the supermarkets.
But screw that—I start Christmas when my family gets together!
Chaos. Pure, maddening, rude jerk-off customers destroying Wal~Mart Chaos. Don't work retail if you love Chirstmas and believe in the giving spirit. I'll crush your hopes and dreams like a fat man falling onto an eloboratly decorated gingerbread house made by orphans. ._.
I voted other; because in Denmark we have these adds ( [link] ) every year, and we celebrate "snow fall" meaning Tuborg have launched their christmas beer. This ads means the start of christmas for most ppl in Denmark (For me, it's also decorating my house and baking cookies)
I live in Australia so for me Christmas is in Summer. You know Christmas is coming when I start wearing the summer uniform to school rather than the winter one. And Christmas Carols playing in the shopping center.
Lol, sorry, but what is it like to HAVE SUMMER WHEN HAVING CHRISTMAS????!!!!! Sorry, but that seems strange .. Since I live in Finland moved here 4 years ago from Wales, not New Wales, and we had rarely got snow but atleast it was cold at Winter. When I was like ten I was like WHAT when my mom told me that some countries had Summer at Christmas
This message has been a pain in the butt since I've been writing with a phone and +its morning and I'm tired lol and I bet its a pain in the butt to read this lol sorry meep
Sorry you went to so much trouble to write this and that I didn't reply sooner. I really love it because it's so different.
You get to see Santas taking pictures with children while a fan blows on them, and I always like it when I get lovely summer clothes to wear on the day.Oh, and then there's all the christmas decorations like santa's sled and kangaroos pulling it.
It's also a perfect time to go on trips to the coast and swim (I don't live right next to the sea) because it's hot and no one has to work. But even though it is summer we still eat a nice warm christmas dinner.
I don't have snow all year round where I live. I think it snowed once when I was 5ish but it was very light and melted by the time it got to the ground But I did move to America for a while when I was younger and I had so much fun in the snow. It used to get piled at the back of our townhouse driveway and turn icy. After that we would go out and carve chairs and stuff into it.
Anyway you probanly don't want to read all this but I wrote it any way. Hope you had a lovely Christmas and great New Years.
